I've been writing poetry for years. I started when I was in the 6th grade; a friend introduced me to the concept. I used it as a form of relief, a diary almost, where I could release all the thoughts I could never find the words to express orally.
I have books upon books of poems and they are very personal to me...each tells a story and they're all real. The few who have heard or read my poetry always tell me that I need to publish it, so here goes. I'm stepping out.
I hope to combine all my poetry and publish it; that's one of my goals.
My poems are truly:
A doorway to my mind, A window to my soul, and a key to my heart.
